Doris Jeanette learned to surf at the age of 53 in Hawaii.  She caught some nice waves coming all the way into shore.  In the actual photos, she is a tiny spot in the distance. This on-shore photo is more interesting.

Surfing was a dream come true.

Scientists have been studying the aerodynamics of carrying large objects so easily on top of the head. Scientists have yet to discover the secret to this ancient practice.
