Dr. Jeanette is confident people in the future will embrace the new, holistic psychology. This means people will discover that they can achieve holistic health based on facts instead of biased belief systems.
You can use this holistic
psychology definition to evaluate any holistic psychologist, holistic psychology
school, holistic health practitioner and holistic health school.
This holistic psychology definition will help you find the genuine, caring, qualified professional you need to heal your mind, body and emotions.
To qualify as a holistic approach, the practitioner must respect, honor and address your mind-body-spirit system as a whole.
In addition, a holistic health approach must solve problems at their source instead of just treating your symptoms.
Many people call themselves holistic health professionals
and holistic psychologists.
Unfortunately, many of them are
doing the same old things in the same old way.
They may use the same words that holistic health professionals do such as energy, freedom, healing, transformation. However, they may not be offering you a holistic psychology approach that is empowering you.
If someone is offering you a technique or the answer, this is just like traditional psychology and traditional medicine. Therefore, they are not offering you alternative medicine or holistic psychology.
Any approach that works only with symptoms cannot be considered holistic.
If you are looking for effective products and services in the new, holistic psychology approach, you will find them at drjeanette.com
If you are a professional or student, use this holistic psychology definition to measure whether a holistic health school or holistic psychology program is offering you what you really want.
A holistic psychology school program that teaches you diagnostic labels, abnormal psychology and sexist theories is not part of the future, holistic psychology.
If you are a professional or student looking to add holistic psychology to your resume, the Center for New Psychology offers two educational options.
